The Three Cent Nickel series was struck in both proof and business strikes.  All were minted in the Philadelphia Mint.

To present the most accurate historical information, the best resources were the letters from the individuals who were involved in the decisions, design concerning this coin; or other important letters from that era to show what influences the country was having on the creation or usage of a coin.
