TradeWinds has been in the coin and stamp business for over 30 years. The retail end of the business was known as Clem's 2-Bit Supply Store - primarily a mail-order store located in Berlin, New Jersey. The owner and founder, Paul, finally came home to California where he took the name of his wholesale business - TradeWinds - seemed to fit better for the beach environment.
Our warehouse is located in Ventura, California. This is midway between LAX and Santa Barbara on the coast. Paul has been involved in coins for well over 30 years, previously having co-owned a coin store in New Jersey. When he and his partner split, Paul took the supply end of the business. We went online in June of 2004.
We still are mostly an online/mail-order business, but those of you who are local are welcome to come in to pickup your order - just give us a day or so to get it ready for you.
